Cloud Platform Engineer *TS/SCI Required

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) program out of San Antonio, TX. The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer will build and maintain robust Kubernetes environments on AWS.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

·       Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS to support container-based applications

·       Implement infrastructure as code and enforce security best practices across AWS environments

·       Integrate CI/CD pipelines and manage application lifecycle workflows

·       Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and maintain secure operations

Qualifications of the Senior Cloud Platform Engineer:

·       6+ years of experience in AWS and DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes

·       Experience with containerized platforms and orchestration tools

·       Hands on experience with Amazon EKS, System Administration and supporting deployment and test teams

·       Proficiency in CI/CD tools and container orchestration

·       IAT Level II Certification (Required – AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS DevOps Engineer, etc.)

·       Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field

Salary of the Senior Cloud Platform Engineer:

•          Salary: Between $150,000 - $170,000 annually based on years of experience
