Radio Technician

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Radio Technician in the Baltimore, MD area to support state and local operations with safety measures and optimize connectivity of radio networks. This will be a key role in getting communication equipment up and running to support mission critical customers with modern radio technology.

Responsibilities:

·      Install, program, and maintain radio trunking or mobile communications equipment for law enforcement agencies

·      Ensure voice and data communications are being transmitted and received from different sites

·      Provide modifications to radio equipment and deploy software updates

·      Assist and collaborate with Radio team on logistics for getting sites up and running

·      Provide end user experience for the customer in the field

Qualifications:

·      A High-School Diploma or GED (Associates Preferred)

·      2+ years of installing or troubleshooting network of radio/mobile communications equipment

·      Experience with L3Harris or Motorola Radios

·      Telecommunications Background

·      Must be able to pass a background check

Compensation:

·      Salary Range: 58k-65k with Travel to local sites
