C/C++ Developer (FSP Clearance)

Piper Companies is seeking a C / C++ Developer focused on encryption development for a leading government contracting organization. The C / C++ Developer will support the design, development, and enhancement of secure encryption solutions within a highly mission-critical environment. The C/C++ Developer role is a long term contract opportunity, requires you to work onsite 5 days per week in Fort Meade, MD and requires a TS/SCI with a FS Poly.

Responsibilities of the C / C++ Developer:

    • Develop, enhance, and maintain encryption-focused software applications using C and C++.

    • Design and implement secure cryptographic solutions to support mission objectives.

    • Analyze system requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable software designs.

    • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization of existing applications.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate encryption technologies into larger systems.

    • Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements of the C / C++ Developer:

    • 5+ years of professional software development experience using C and C++.

    • Experience developing or supporting encryption, cryptographic, or cybersecurity-related applications.

    • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.

    • Experience working within Linux-based environments.

    • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance.

Compensation for the C / C++ Developer:

    • Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000
