Sr. IAM Engineer - 175836

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. IAM Engineer to join a growing client in the technology industry in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The Sr. IAM Engineer role requires working in a hybrid environment with onsite presence in RTP. The Sr. IAM Engineer role is ideal for an experienced identity and access management professional with expertise in Azure, Intune, Okta, and SailPoint, along with a strong background in enterprise security and identity governance.

Responsibilities of the Sr. IAM Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise identity and access management solutions across Azure AD, Okta, and SailPoint environments.

• Manage device identity, compliance, and endpoint access policies through Microsoft Intune.

• Develop and enhance identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and role-based access controls.

• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen authentication, authorization, and governance strategies.

• Investigate IAM-related issues, audit findings, and security risks while driving remediation efforts and process improvements.

Requirements of the Sr. IAM Engineer include:

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management engineering or a related security discipline.

• Hands-on expertise with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Microsoft Intune, Okta, and SailPoint.

• Experience implementing SSO, MFA, identity governance, privileged access management, and access certification programs.

• Strong understanding of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and IAM architecture within enterprise environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.

Compensation for the Sr. IAM Engineer include:

• $120,000 - $135,000 annually
