Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst for a growing technology organization. The Business Analyst role is a fully remote position working Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. The Business Analyst will partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements, drive customer portal initiatives, and support system integrations across enterprise applications. An ideal candidate for the Business Analyst role is an experienced professional with a strong background in customer-facing web portal development and integration projects.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for customer web portal enhancements and new feature implementations.

• Partner with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.

• Support system integration projects by identifying requirements, mapping processes, and coordinating testing efforts.

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions with business and technical teams.

• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), process improvement initiatives, and project documentation.

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology, software, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong experience working on customer-facing web portal projects from requirements gathering through implementation.

• Experience supporting application and system integration projects in a cross-functional environment.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• SQL experience is a plus for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting purposes.

Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:

• Salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 depending on experience
