Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate
Job Summary:
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate to support a leading biotechnology company focused on developing innovative therapies and bioengineered organ technologies. This position is onsite in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Responsibilities for the Senior Equipment Systems & Vendor Associate include:
- Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and asset tracking systems to ensure accurate equipment status and documentation.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration schedules, and vendor service activities to support operational readiness.
- Monitor open work orders, vendor documentation, and compliance records to ensure timely closure and GMP adherence.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and system access controls within equipment management platforms.
- Support system validation efforts, upgrades, testing activities, configuration changes, and change control processes.
- Coordinate vendor visits, site access, and logistics while ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Associate's degree with 5+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting equipment lifecycle management within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environments.
- Strong knowledge of calibration programs, preventive maintenance, equipment documentation, and data integrity practices.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, service schedules, and inspection readiness activities.
- Familiarity with system validation, user access administration, and change control processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually based on experience
