Senior Consultant

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Consultant to support a company focused on delivering secure enterprise application and workflow automation solutions for Intelligence Community and federal mission operations. This position is on-site in Reston, VA. The Senior Consultant will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications that support mission-critical business processes across classified environments. Responsibilities for the Senior Consultant include:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure enterprise applications and workflow automation solutions.
• Develop systems supporting case management, approvals, logistics, financial systems, and other mission-support functions.
• Design and implement secure integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leadership to build scalable, maintainable solutions while participating in Agile software development activities.
• Support deployments into secure customer environments, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications for the Senior Consultant include:

• 4-7 years of experience in software development, technical consulting, application development, or a related technical field.
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, JDBC, SQL, relational databases, enterprise integrations, AWS, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, object-oriented programming, customer-facing collaboration, and secure development practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Active TS Clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred. Active CI Polygraph or Full Scope Polygraph highly desired.

Compensation for the Senior Consultant include:

• Salary Range: depending on experience
