Full Stack Developer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a company focused on modernizing and developing mission-critical enterprise applications within the government and defense sector. This position is hybrid, with the first 6-8 weeks fully onsite in Chantilly, VA, followed by 3 days onsite per week. The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure full-stack web applications leveraging modern Java, React, cloud, and database technologies. Responsibilities for the Full Stack Developer include:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces utilizing React, CSS, and reusable design patterns.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services while implementing enterprise security best practices.
• Design database schemas, support data migration activities, and ensure data integrity between legacy and modernized systems.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, version control processes, and Agile software development activities.

Required Qualifications for the Full Stack Developer include:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in full-stack application development.
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework/Spring Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, React, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience with databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Docker, Kubernetes
• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.

Compensation for the Full Stack Developer include:

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Sick Leave as required by law
