SAP Hazmat Functional - REMOTE

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SAP HAZMAT Functional to support a federal logistics modernization program focused on SAP S/4HANA supply chain, transportation, warehousing, and hazardous materials management operations. This position is Remote. The SAP HAZMAT Functional will provide functional expertise supporting hazardous material and Dangerous Goods processes within SAP, ensuring regulatory compliance, system integration, and operational efficiency across logistics and supply chain workflows. Responsibilities for the SAP HAZMAT Functional include:

• Serve as the functional SME for SAP HAZMAT, Dangerous Goods, and regulated material processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Support configuration, integration, and maintenance of HAZMAT-related functionality across SAP MM, TM, EWM, SD, and other logistics modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate operational and regulatory needs into SAP functional designs, process improvements, and system solutions.
• Support data migration, master data management, testing activities (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and end-to-end validation of HAZMAT processes.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, DoD, transportation, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications for the SAP HAZMAT Functional include:

• 4+ years of experience supporting SAP functional implementations, modernization efforts, or sustainment activities.
• 4+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP logistics modules, including MM, TM, EWM, SD, or related capabilities.
• Experience supporting hazardous materials, Dangerous Goods, SAP EHS, Product Compliance, or regulated material management processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements, developing functional specifications, conducting testing, and troubleshooting integrated SAP solutions.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Active Secret clearance (Interim or Final).
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification.
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Salary Range: Depending on experience
