Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist / PT to join a patient-focused outpatient physical therapy clinic in Centreville, VA. The Physical Therapist will provide hands-on, individualized rehabilitation services focused on reducing pain, improving mobility, and helping patients maintain long-term functional outcomes.
Responsibilities of the Staff Physical Therapist include:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical needs and functional goals
- Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques to address pain, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal dysfunction
- Perform therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and functional movement
- Educate patients on exercises, movement patterns, posture, and techniques to support long-term recovery
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
- Utilize state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and treatment techniques
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with the organization's clinical philosophy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
- Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications for the Staff Physical Therapist include:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Physical Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Strong understanding of physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical leadership
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and sit for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in Dry Needling
- Experience with manual-based physical therapy
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Interest in continued clinical education and professional development
- New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
Compensation for the Staff Physical Therapist includes:
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
- Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees
