Project Estimator

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects for retail, hospital, and municipality customers on-site in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities of the Project Estimator:

·      Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis

·      Review project documents, develop budgets, pricing, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals during preconstruction process

·      Identify potential project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers

·      Participate in pre-bod meetings, site visits, and project interviews

·      Perform constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and cost-saving evaluations.

Qualifications of the Project Estimator:

·      Associates Degree in a relevant field

·      5+ years of experience in construction estimating

·      Experience with BluBeam, Sage, Excel, or similar estimating system

·      Strong Cost Analysis Experience

·      Must be able to pass a government background check

Compensation of the Project Estimator:

·      Salary Range: 80k-100k
