Construction Project Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support a company focused on commercial construction and design-build projects across K-12, healthcare, government, military, and institutional facilities. This position on-site in Greensboro, NC with travel. The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful execution of budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities for the Project Manager include:

• Manage 3-7 commercial construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead project kickoff meetings, review constructability, value engineering opportunities, and oversee procurement activities.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, pay applications, submittals, shop drawings, and agency approvals.
• Travel to project sites approximately 30-40% to support field operations, client engagement, and project progress reviews.

Required Qualifications for the Project Manager/Construction include:

• 3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Background supporting commercial projects such as K-12, SLED, hospitals, federal, GSA, DOD, military installations, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience working for a General Contractor or Architecture/Design-Build firm preferred.

Compensation for the Project Manager/Construction include:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000+ depending on experience
• Travel: Per diem and travel expenses provided for project-related travel
