Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer for a leading cybersecurity technology client in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area. The Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer role is a contract position and requires onsite work in RTP. The Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer role is ideal for a seasoned full stack developer with expertise in Python, React, and security-focused software development supporting Common Criteria certification initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer include:

• Design, develop, and enhance full stack applications utilizing Python and React to support Common Criteria (CC) security projects.

• Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to implement technical requirements associated with Common Criteria evaluations.

• Create and maintain software components, APIs, and user interfaces while ensuring secure coding best practices.

• Support the development of documentation, testing artifacts, and evidence packages required for certification efforts.

• Troubleshoot complex application issues and drive performance, scalability, and security improvements across platforms.

Requirements of the Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of software development experience.

• Strong full stack development experience with Python and React.

• Experience supporting Common Criteria (CC) projects, security certifications, or regulated software development environments.

• Knowledge of secure software development methodologies, testing frameworks, and modern development tools.

Compensation for the Common Criteria Senior Software Engineer include:

• $130 - $145/hour
