Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a company focused on developing innovative software, cloud infrastructure, and mission-critical capabilities for national security customers. This position is on-site in Fairfax, VA. The DevOps Engineer will support the design, deployment, and automation of secure cloud environments while helping build and maintain scalable infrastructure from the ground up. This is an opportunity to directly impact high-priority missions by enabling advanced capabilities through modern DevOps practices and cloud technologies.

Active TS clearance or higher required.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure in secure environments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based environments, container platforms, and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment to develop scalable and reliable solutions.

Required Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer include:

• 5+ years of experience supporting DevOps, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud technologies (AWS/GovCloud preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar), scripting, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in collaborative Agile development environments.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Compensation for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Salary Range: Depending on experience
