Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Director of Data Policy and Platform Management to join the world's largest retail trade organization, located in Washington, DC. The Senior Director of Data Policy and Platform Management will provide strategic leadership over enterprise data strategy, analytics, reporting capabilities, and digital platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities for the Senior Director of Data Policy and Platform Management Include:
• Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring data is secure, accessible, accurate, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish and oversee data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality and compliance across the organization.
• Identify data sources and develop scalable data process flows, including data cleansing, transformation, integration, and analytics initiatives.
• Lead data architecture planning, design reviews, and implementation efforts while evaluating reporting capabilities and business requirements.
• Provide strategic recommendations to optimize data access, retention, integration, and reporting across enterprise systems.
• Partner with business leaders to enable data-driven decision making while maintaining governance and security standards.
• Oversee the architecture, performance, maintenance, and modernization of digital platforms including CRM, CDP, AMS, CMS, enterprise websites, APIs, and related technologies.
Qualifications for the Senior Director of Data Policy and Platform Management Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
• 8+ years of leadership experience overseeing enterprise data, analytics, digital platforms, or technology operations.
• Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks.
• Strong experience with KPI development, business intelligence reporting, analytics, and performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, data architecture, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Experience leading platform modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, and large-scale technology transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, CMS platforms, CRM systems, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Association Management Systems (AMS), and data lake architectures.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting tools.
Compensation for the Senior Director of Data Policy and Platform Management includes:
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000 annually depending on experience
