Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite Systems Engineer to join an Intelligence Government Agency, located in Newington, VA. The Systems Engineer will drive the design, optimization, and reliability of secure virtual desktop environments that directly support critical mission operations and enable end users to work efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer Includes:

• Develop and refine virtual desktop infrastructure solutions by partnering with team members to establish effective system designs
• Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive solutions that support mission objectives
• Operate effectively in a high-demand environment, managing priorities while delivering reliable technical outcomes
• Contribute directly to mission success by supporting and maintaining critical VDI systems
• Apply both technical expertise and communication skills to deliver results and support team collaboration

Qualifications of the Systems Engineer Includes:

• 8+ years of experience
• Experience working with Omnissa Hirozon hosted on vSphere
• Bachelors degree
• Solid understanding of virtual desktop configuration, including policy-driven controls and user profile handling
• Working knowledge of compliance standards and secure configuration practices in regulated systems
• Ability to use scripting to streamline processes and support automated image management and testing
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance

Compensation of the Systems Engineer Includes:

• $170,000
