SOC Analysist II

Piper Companies is looking to fill the role of SOC Analyst II for a Cloud and Technology company located in RTP. We are seeking a candidate to focus on Tier 2 security Monitoring along with hands-on experience utilizing Splunk and AWS.  This role requires time in-office 2 days per week in Morrisville, NC or Fulton, MD.

Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II Include:

• Analyze and respond to security alerts.
• Preform incident investigations and escalate as needed.
• Monitor and secure AWS environments.
• Use Tenable, defender, and AWS for vulnerability and configuration management.

Qualifications for the SOC Analyst II Include:

• Must have secret Clearence 
• Proficient in Splunk, including but not limited to reviewing, analyzing, and reacting to alerts
• AWS experience and cloud security 
• Tier 2 Skills 

Compensation for the SOC Analyst II include:

• $108,000-$125,000
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick leave if required by law, and Holidays
