Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Construction Superintendent to support a federal partner located in Concord, CA. The Construction Superintendent will lead day‑to‑day field execution for a large‑scale federal MEP and power generation project, coordinating subcontractors and partnering closely with Quality Control to ensure full compliance with USACE/NAVFAC standards.
Responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent include:
· Lead and direct daily field execution for MEP and power generation scopes
· Supervise subcontractor crews and coordinate multi‑trade activities onsite
· Partner with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with federal standards and inspections
· Develop and manage work sequencing, logistics plans, and short‑term look‑ahead schedules
· Run subcontractor coordination meetings and own daily field decisions
· Provide clear, consistent communication and status updates to project leadership
· Enforce EM 385‑1‑1, OSHA, and site‑specific safety requirements
Qualifications for the Construction Superintendent include:
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
· Federal project experience (USACE or NAVFAC strongly preferred)
· Proven leadership of skilled trades and subcontractor teams
· Strong working knowledge of EM 385‑1‑1 safety standards
· Experience partnering effectively with Quality Control on federal projects
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
Compensation for the Construction Superintendent includes:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
