Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Web Software Developer to support Intelligence analysis and production for DIA throughout the Washington, D.C. metro. We are seeking a skilled developer to design and build modern web applications to support a critical intelligence mission. Details below:
Clearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD; JBAB Washington, D.C.; Reston, VA

Responsibilities:
· Evaluate current applications to uncover usability gaps and optimization opportunities
· Transform complex requirements into intuitive, user‑friendly designs through wireframes and workflows
· Leverage user research and usability testing insights to drive informed design decisions
· Design and develop responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
· Implement clean, efficient, and reusable code across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
· Collaborate with backend services through API integration to deliver end‑to‑end functionality
· Design and build interfaces compliant with Section 508 standards
· Collaborate on user stories, project documentation, and successful sprint delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from accredited university and 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Strong experience with:
- UI/UX design and usability principles
- Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Figma (components, prototyping)
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
Compensation:
· Total compensation based on experience level - $160,000-$185,000+
