Radar Integration & Test Engineer (Entry - Sr.) (DoD Secret)

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring Radar Integration and Test Engineers to support the integration and testing of advanced radar systems for new development programs supporting the AEGIS Combat Systems.

Location: Moorestown, NJ or Syracuse, NY 4-day work week (4x10 schedule) – every Friday off

Active Secret clearance required

U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities:

• Integrate radar hardware and software subsystems
• Perform AESA Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures
• Break down (decompose) radar systems and requirements
• Verify, trace, and report system requirements
• Ensure requirements are testable and validated
• Investigate issues and drive them to resolution
• Participate in technical and design reviews
• Document work in engineering data systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience integrating and testing radar systems
• Domain expertise: Radar Systems (fixed, transportable, and ship-based)
• Hands-on experience with test equipment:
  • Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators
  • Network tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Experience with test automation (C++, MATLAB, or Python)
• Experience with requirements tools (DOORS, Jira, Confluence)
• Familiarity with both sides of the Systems Engineering V-model

Compensation:

Level 2: 2–5 years ~$110,000

Level 3: 5+ years ~ $150,000

Level 4: 9–13 years (SME preferred) ~$185,000
