Low Voltage Cable Installer - Secret Cleared

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Low Voltage Cable Installer to support a company focused on secure infrastructure and telecommunications projects within the federal defense space. This position is on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA. The Low Voltage Cable Installer will support the installation, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems in secure environments while ensuring compliance with federal standards. This is a mission-critical role supporting national security operations through reliable and resilient communications infrastructure.

Responsibilities for the Low Voltage Cable Installer include:

• Installing, routing, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling (data, voice, and telecom systems)
• Assisting with structured cabling, labeling, and cable management in accordance with industry standards
• Using hand tools and basic testing equipment to verify connectivity and performance
• Supporting inventory management and documentation of cabling systems
• Working safely at heights and in physically demanding environments while following all safety protocols

Required Qualifications for the Low Voltage Cable Installer include:

• 1+ years of experience (entry-level candidates encouraged; no prior experience required)
• Basic familiarity with low-voltage cabling or telecommunications concepts
• Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Secret security clearance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and maintain a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Compensation for the Low Voltage Cable Installer include:

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
