Deployment IT Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployment IT Specialist to support a company focused on enterprise IT services and end-user computing within a large, distributed professional services environment. This position is on-site in Fairfax, VA. The Deployment IT Specialist will support device lifecycle management by deploying, configuring, reclaiming, and redeploying Windows workstations while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for end users. This role is mission-critical to ensuring employees are fully productive from day one through reliable, secure, and standardized device delivery.

Responsibilities for the Deployment IT Specialist include:

• Configure and deploy Windows workstations for new hires using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot in a hybrid Entra ID environment
• Coordinate with supervisory staff and end users to confirm software requirements and ensure all systems are fully functional at onboarding
• Perform budgeted PC refreshes and replacements for existing users, ensuring proper profile migration and data continuity
• Reclaim, reimage, and redeploy existing hardware by returning devices to a standardized baseline configuration
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation within the ITSM platform, including equipment storage and lifecycle tracking

Required Qualifications for the Deployment IT Specialist include:

• 2+ years of experience supporting end-user computing environments or IT service desk operations
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Windows 10/11
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills in both desk-side and remote support scenarios
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Compensation for the Deployment IT Specialist include:

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 depending on experience
