Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Unified Communications (DRSN) Support Technician to support a company focused on providing mission‑critical communications services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations. This position is on-site at Scott AFB, IL. The Unified Communications (DRSN) Support Technician will provide 24x7 operational support to DISA’s Defense Information System Network (DISN), ensuring continuous availability of voice and unified communications services. This role directly supports warfighter readiness by maintaining reliable, secure communications across global DoD networks.
Responsibilities for the Unified Communications (DRSN) Support Technician include:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, document, and resolve network incidents using ServiceNow and approved incident management tools
- Perform configuration and analysis of customer circuits across TDM and SIP trunks, including UC route plans and call routing
- Provide real-time situational awareness and escalation support to leadership, customers, and operational stakeholders
- Proactively monitor alarms across network management platforms to identify and mitigate service-impacting issues
- Verify service restoration and maintain accurate documentation throughout the lifecycle of network incidents
Required Qualifications for the Unified Communications (DRSN) Support Technician include:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience supporting voice, UC, or IP-based network environments
- Experience with unified communications technologies, SIP, call routing, and network alarm surveillance
- Strong understanding of voice infrastructure, IP network topologies, and incident management processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Compensation for the Unified Communications (DRSN) Support Technician include:
- Salary Range: TBD depending on experience
