Aviation/ Small business Product Owner

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Product Owner for a Small Business and/ or Aviation in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities for the Product Owner:

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for aviation and small business lending products, from ideation and launch through optimization and sunsetting.
• Develop product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, market demand, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
• Define product value propositions, pricing strategies, underwriting frameworks, and eligibility criteria for aviation and small business loans.
• Work closely with Risk, Credit, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure products meet regulatory, policy, and operational standards.
• Partner with Technology and Data teams to define system requirements, underwriting rules, automation opportunities, and reporting needs.
• Support Marketing and Sales with product positioning, training, and go-to-market execution.

Qualifications for the Product Owner:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in loan product management, commercial lending, aviation finance, or small business lending.
• Strong understanding of lending fundamentals including underwriting, credit risk, pricing, and portfolio management.
• Experience working cross-functionally with credit, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
• Proven ability to manage complex products and balance growth, risk, and customer experience.

Compensation for the Product Owner:

• $150,000 - $160,000 *Depending on Experience
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
