Investment Banking Associate

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support a fast-growing firm focused on middle-market capital markets, including debt and equity raises across real estate, energy, infrastructure, and emerging growth sectors. This position is fully on-site in Tysons, VA. The Investment Banking Associate will play a critical role in sourcing, influencing, and closing transactions by working directly with clients and investors throughout the deal lifecycle. This is a high-impact opportunity for a driven, Type-A professional who thrives in fast-paced, deal-driven environments and wants to help scale a growing investment platform.

Responsibilities for the Investment Banking Associate include:

• Source, manage, and execute debt and equity transactions, including capital raises and select M&A activities
• Conduct investor outreach, including cold calling and relationship development with institutional and private investors
• Support deal execution from initial outreach through close, with deal cycles typically ranging from 6 weeks to 3 months
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales management, and operations to advance active deal flow
• Prepare investor materials, financial analyses, and pitch content to support transaction execution

Required Qualifications for the Investment Banking Associate include:

• 3–5+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, private equity, sales-driven finance, or related roles
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and financial modeling / investor presentation materials
• Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills; comfort with cold calling and client-facing work
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

Compensation for the Investment Banking Associate include:

• Salary Range: $80,000 – $115,000 base salary depending on experience
