Software Automation Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Automation Engineer to support a secure flight program for TSA in Annapolis Junction, MD. The team is seeking an engineer skilled and interested in system integration and automation tactics to improve the end-to-end testing process for this on-going secure-flight program.

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD – on-site 1x a week   

Hours: Standard operating hours, 8-4

Clearance: Secret clearance, must be able to pass TSA background check (3-6 weeks)

Responsibilities of the Automation Engineer:  

·      Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.

·      Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite.

·      Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration.

·      Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Qualifications of the Automation Engineer:  

·      Bachelors degree and 1+ years of experience in software testing, working with and supporting the development of an overall test plan and tailored test plans for each release

·      Active Secret clearance, willing to obtain TSA clearance

·      Must have experience using one or more of the following test management tools: Cucumber, Selenium, Rational Team Concert

·      Familiarity with API and regression testing

Compensation of the Automation Engineer:  

·      Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 **based on total years of experience**
