Data Center Security Installation Project Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Data Center Security Installation Project Manager to support a leading engineering, and systems integration organization. The Data Center Security Installation Project Manager will be responsible for assisting with the overall administration, organization, and execution of large-scale electronic security installation projects within mission‑critical data center environments. This role is a senior leadership position overseeing multiple projects and requires on‑site presence daily in the NOVA area.

Responsibilities for the Data Center Security Installation Project Manager:

• Oversee the installation of electronic security systems across multiple data center sites.
• Establish and implement procedures and controls to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage project site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors while overseeing performance.
• Prepare installation proposals, change orders, project schedules, and status reports.
• Lead and conduct project kick‑off meetings (PKOM).
• Forecast cash flow, manpower requirements, and material needs.
• Order materials, tools, and equipment necessary for project execution.

Qualifications for the Data Center Security Installation Project Manager:

• 10+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 7+ years with a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience managing electrical or electronic security projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
• Proven experience working with contract drawings, specifications, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency with project management software, CPM scheduling tools, cost management systems, and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles related to electrical and electronic security systems.

Compensation for the Data Center Security Installation Project Manager:

• Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
