Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Financial Analyst to support a mission-critical program providing business case development and business process analysis for the Department of Justice (DOJ), United States Marshals Service (USMS). This position is a full-time, onsite role based in Arlington, VA. The AR Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting executive decision-making by delivering high-quality forensic data analysis, performance metrics, and business insights in a fast-paced, high-visibility federal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and forecasts; clearly explain analytical processes and techniques; recommend actions; and provide accurate, defensible responses to program- and executive-level inquiries.
- Identify, analyze, query, and produce data metrics, dashboards, and reports, including intra- and inter-agency benchmarks.
- Coordinate, execute, and aggregate data calls in support of program managers and Financial Services Division (FSD) executives.
- Facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and enabling technologies to identify, configure, and communicate actionable information.
- Serve as a trusted analytical partner to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven enhancements.
- Operate effectively in a time-sensitive environment, balancing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of experience performing duties similar to those described above.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access, including:
- Pivot tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Charts, graphs, and data visualizations
- Analytical reporting
- Strong attention to detail with an excellent command of written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism and patience when working with challenging customers or vendors.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels.
- Excellent consultation, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills in matrixed environments.
- Proven problem-solving ability, including:

- Generating creative, “out-of-the-box” solutions

Compensation Includes:
- Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000
