Cortex Consultant (XSIAM/XSOAR/XDR)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cortex Consultant (XSIAM/XSOAR/XDR) to support a leading cybersecurity organization. The Cortex Consultant will serve as a Subject Matter Expert across the Cortex suite, including XSOAR, XSIAM, and XDR, driving implementation and optimization efforts. This role is fully onsite at Scott AFB, IL. Candidates with a Top Secret clearance will be preferred.

Responsibilities of the Cortex Consultant include:

• Serve as SME across Cortex XSOAR, XSIAM, and XDR platforms
• Design and implement security automation and detection strategies
• Develop and optimize playbooks and workflows
• Support log ingestion, correlation rules, and detection engineering
• Collaborate with customers to drive product adoption
• Troubleshoot and optimize security platform performance
• Document technical implementations and processes

Qualifications for the Cortex Consultant include:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
• Strong experience across Cortex suite (XSOAR, XSIAM, XDR)
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR technologies
• Strong understanding of detection engineering and automation
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• U.S. Citizenship required

Compensation for the Cortex Consultant includes:

• Salary: $140,000 – $165,000
