Remote SailPoint Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SailPoint Engineer (Application Onboarding & Integrations Lead) to support a high-impact identity security program. The SailPoint Engineer will lead application onboarding and integration efforts within a SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) environment, driving end-to-end delivery from intake through production. This role combines hands-on engineering with stakeholder engagement and offers the opportunity to shape scalable identity governance solutions across the enterprise.

Responsibilities of the SailPoint Engineer include:

• Lead the full lifecycle of application onboarding including connected and disconnected applications
• Design, develop, and configure SailPoint ISC integrations, workflows, roles, policies, and access profiles
• Partner with application owners to define onboarding strategies and integration approaches
• Support manual fulfillment processes leveraging tools such as ServiceNow where applicable
• Execute and coordinate end-to-end testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrations
• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting onboarding and system performance
• Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, onboarding templates, and process guides
• Operate within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and execution using JIRA
• Serve as the lead for the onboarding workstream, driving delivery and resolving blockers with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with governance and compliance requirements

Qualifications of the SailPoint Engineer include:

• 7+ years of hands-on SailPoint engineering experience (ISC or IIQ)
• Strong experience with application onboarding and identity integrations
• Expertise in SailPoint development including workflows, connectors, rules, roles, and policies
• Experience supporting testing, validation, and troubleshooting of identity solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead workstreams independently and drive delivery from intake through completion
• Strong analytical skills including experience working with Excel for data validation and cleanup

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and manual fulfillment workflows
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX or CMMC
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA
• Experience designing scalable identity governance and access management solutions
