Secret Cleared Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared Systems Engineer to support a premier federal IT provider based out of Westminster, CO. The Secret Cleared Systems Engineer will be responsible for ensuring disciplined requirements development, end‑to‑end traceability, and rigorous verification and validation for complex, software‑intensive systems using MBSE practices and CAMEO modeling.

Responsibilities of the Secret Cleared Systems Engineer includes:

• Deliver to the development, decomposition, and end‑to‑end traceability of system and software requirements using disciplined systems engineering processes.
• Build and manage system architecture and behavioral models in CAMEO (MBSE) to define interfaces, structure, and lifecycle artifacts.
• Define and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) strategies, including test planning, procedures, and alignment between requirements, architecture, and implementation.
• Produce high‑quality technical artifacts, support major design reviews, and drive configuration control across system, software, and test teams.

Qualifications for the Secret Cleared Systems Engineer includes:

• 5+ years of systems engineering for software-centric or software intensive MBSE systems
• Hands on experience with Cameo or similar MBSE tooling for modeling
• Verification & Validation (V&V) planning and execution
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical field
• Active Secret Clearance is required

Compensation for the Secret Cleared Systems Engineer includes:

• Salary Equivalent: $145,000 - $165,000 **depending on experience**
