Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to support a company focused on delivering Agile-driven solutions for government programs. This position is on-site in Orlando, FL. The Scrum Master will guide Agile teams through full lifecycle delivery while ensuring alignment with program objectives and mission needs. This role directly supports a government customer driving critical modernization and operational readiness initiatives.
Responsibilities for the Scrum Master include:
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Agile Program Managers, and stakeholders to define sprint goals and ensure successful delivery
- Identify and remove impediments, coordinate dependencies, and escalate risks as needed
- Coach team members on Agile principles and promote continuous improvement
- Track and communicate team performance metrics such as burndown and velocity
Required Qualifications for the Scrum Master include:
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Lead
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting multiple Agile projects end‑to‑end
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Active Secret security clearance
Compensation for the Scrum Master includes:
- Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000 depending on experience
