Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Data Center Foreman to support one of our industry-leading clients in the construction and electrical infrastructure sector. The Data Center Foreman will oversee crew scheduling, installation quality, field supervision, safety compliance, and project documentation across assigned work areas.

 

Responsibilities of the Data Center Foreman:

Productivity planning for all assigned scope of work

Material phasing and organization by area/floor, including maintaining material inventories

Identification and management of required tools and equipment for each crew (gang box assignments, tool inspections, sign-in/sign-out tracking)

Preparation of complete information packages for each crew (contract drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, etc.)

Monitoring and controlling break periods to prevent unnecessary loss of productive time

Submitting daily hour/unit reports for all personnel assigned (standard timesheet format)

Performing quality control inspections in accordance with the established QC plan and checklists

Ensuring work is installed professionally and meets high-quality standards

Maintaining accurate as-built drawings and updating/logging master contract drawings weekly

Daily inventory and accountability of all tools and equipment, submitting weekly inventory/inspection sheets

Reviewing and managing AHA’s for all scope-related work; ensuring all crew signatures and proper gang box storage

Ensuring proper daily clean-up and maintaining workspace

Ensuring all installations meet codes, contractual requirements, best practices, and corporate quality policy

Reviewing and implementing all aspects of the Project Quality Plan, documenting deviations and coordinating approval

Participating in 3-Phase QC (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-up) for all DFOW under their responsibility

Documenting and returning CQC checklists to the site QC representative in alignment with QAQC schedules

Initiating discrepancy notices (EDN, DDN, PDN, FDN, ADN, PITDN, CDN) as required for issue resolution

Reviewing weekly installation quality scorecards and supporting corrective/preventive action plans

Addressing recurring issues noted in daily QC reports and preventing future nonconformities

Ensuring nonconformity tags are resolved promptly

Participating in QAQC design reviews to support constructability assessments

Providing quality-related input during daily ORM work briefings

 

Qualifications of the Data Center Foreman:

6+ years of experience in the electrical industry with a High School diploma or GED

4+ years of industry experience with an Associate degree

Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly

Ability to relocate and handle a 12-foot stepladder independently

Capability to work at heights up to 60 feet (scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, ladders)

Ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead repetitively



Compensation for the Data Center Foreman:

Hourly rate: $59/hr, $61/hr with journeyman license, $63/hr with master license ($122,720-$131,040, depending on experience)
