Technical Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead to support a company focused on driving large‑scale infrastructure, network, and security transformation initiatives. This position is hybrid role (3 days on-site) in Rockville, MD. The Technical Lead will serve as a key liaison between engineering teams, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders to ensure modernization milestones are met. This role directly supports mission‑critical technical transformation efforts across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities for the Modernization Technical Lead include:

• Overseeing modernization progress across infrastructure, network, and security domains, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
• Coordinating with engineering teams and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical deliverables
• Managing schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
• Facilitating communication and influencing outcomes among technical teams, subcontractors, and customer representatives
• Preparing technical status reports, dashboards, and leadership‑level documentation

Required Qualifications for the Modernization Technical Lead include:

• 10+ years of experience supporting technical project management or modernization initiatives
• Technical experience in infrastructure, networking, and security domains
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑team coordination skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• PMP certification REQUIRED
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance

Compensation for the Modernization Technical Lead includes:

• Salary Range: $170,000-$180,000 depending on experience
