Cyber Operations Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Cyber Operations Analyst to join a longstanding federal program. This is a full-time position and onsite in Ft Meade, MD.

 Essential Duties of the Cyber Operations Analyst:

• Provide holistic enterprise defensive strategies for enterprise cyber security capabilities. To include but not limited to Cloud, network boundaries, cross domains, and varying endpoint technologies.
• Provide analysis of architectures, technologies, policies, information and analytic data used to determine prevention, detection, and mitigation of anomalous activity, vulnerabilities and inefficiencies.
• Perform cyber situational awareness activities and provide analysis and recommendations of situation awareness capabilities.
• Provide enterprise-wide cybersecurity, threat analysis, countermeasures and defensive strategies.

Qualifications of the Cyber Operations Analyst:

• 4 – 8+ years of related SOC or Cyber experience
• Prior experience working in a SOC
• Experience with Splunk
• Experience with IDS/IPS tools.
• Experience with Wireshark PCAP
• This is a 24x7x365 environment and requires flexibility to work different shifts.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCIclearance.

 Compensation for the Cyber Operations Analyst:

• $120,000 - $180,000 (based on experience)
