Job Summary
Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for an innovative Instructional Systems Analyst to support a comprehensive Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA) effort at Wright‑Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. This role directly influences the future design and modernization of training systems for specialized Air Force Aircraft Maintainers and Controllers by applying competency‑based training principles, learning engineering practices, and advanced instructional methodologies.
Responsibilities of the Instructional Systems Analyst
- Evaluate and enhance Air Force training programs, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, competency models, and evolving learning strategies for aircraft maintenance and operational roles.
- Synthesize task analysis data from multiple contributors, conduct DIF and task assessments, and translate findings into structured learning objectives, training requirements, and curriculum frameworks.
- Develop and refine TSRA documentation, including detailed training needs analyses and requirements definitions that support modern, competency‑driven training system solutions.
- Assess and integrate emerging simulation and training technologies, applying adaptive learning concepts and media-selection criteria to enhance course design.
- Collaborate with external vendors to guide curriculum and media development, ensuring all products meet instructional standards, TSRA deliverables, and government program expectations.
- Validate course content with SMEs and stakeholders, reviewing instructional materials to ensure accuracy, adherence to standards, and alignment with Air Force operational requirements.
- Partner with training engineers and functional organizations, contributing to strategic improvements that advance the effectiveness and efficiency of Air Force learning environments.
Qualifications of the Instructional Systems Analyst
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD), learning engineering, or training systems engineering.
- Hands‑on experience developing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) training programs, including simulator training and mission‑scenario development.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers, system administrators, and subject‑matter experts.
- Background as an instructor or training developer, with experience conducting task and gap analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- All Applicants MUST possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance
Compensation for the Instructional Systems Analyst:
- Pay Range: $85,000-$105,000 **depending on experience**
