DevSecOps Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer who is responsible for deploying devops and security tooling for a DOD program. This is a great contract-to-hire opportunity in the Cleared Cybersecurity space.

Responsibilities for the DevSecOps Engineer:

• Assist the Lead with the planning and design effort for all tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
• Implement the tasks in the backlog (e.g. POA&M items, component upgrades, feature requests, bug fixes)
• Review changes
• Update the Body of Evidence (BOE) with each release

Minimum Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer:

• TS/SCI
• 3+ years of experience using Agile methodologies in the system development life cycle
• 3+ years of experience with Incrastructure-as-Code / Configuration-as-Code (Terraform)
• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes
• 3 years experience with Commercial Cloud Services
• 1 year of experience with GitOps (FlexCD or ArgoCD)
• 1 year of experience with Helm
• Security Hardening (STIG, patching, CVE [vulnerability] assessments)
• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 3 years of experience as an engineer Or 8 years of experience without a degree

Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer:

• Salary range: $150,000 - 200,000 *depending on experience*
