Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support a DoD program based at Fort Novosel, Alabama. This position is a full-time role that will be 100% onsite. This position is critical in safeguarding our network and assets, ensuring robust security measures and procedures are maintained. As a Computer Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in endpoint security administration, vulnerability management, automation, and compliance activities supporting a high‑stakes environment protecting critical DoD information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer endpoint security tools, including Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
- Configure, deploy, and tune security modules such as endpoint protection, host-based firewall, and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation with system administrators to ensure system integrity.
- Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, organizational IT security policies, and applicable cybersecurity standards.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and system configuration using PowerShell scripting.
- Collate, analyze, and visualize security data from ACAS, ePO, Elastic, and other systems to support reporting and decision‑making.
- Develop, implement, and track IT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect organizational systems and information assets.
- Work closely with end users and organizational units to understand security needs and ensure proper controls are applied.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800‑37, Army Regulations, and Army cybersecurity procedures
- Experience with ACAS, CIS Benchmarks, and SCAP tools
- Experience supporting cybersecurity A&A/RMF documentation
- IAT Level II Certification — one of the following:
- CCNA-Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- CND
- SSCP
Compensation Includes:
- Salary Range: $50,000 – $63,000
- Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and Sick Leave (where required by law)
