CIM Project Leader (Sandston VA)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a CIM Project Leader to support a company focused on delivering innovative, secure, and resilient cyber‑physical and automation systems for mission‑critical facilities nationwide. This position is on‑site in Manassas, VA. The CIM Project Leader will oversee and drive the successful execution of automation system projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, quality, and client expectations.

Responsibilities for the CIM Project Leader include:

• Leading automation systems projects from initiation through completion while ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence
• Collaborating with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and drive project execution
• Managing and mentoring cross‑functional technical teams across engineering disciplines
• Overseeing quality assurance, compliance, inspections, and adherence to industry standards
• Managing project financials, budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation

Required Qualifications for the CIM Project Leader include:

• 5–9+ years of experience managing engineering or automation projects (experience level varies by degree)
• Working knowledge of automation systems such as switchgear, power distribution, metering, and MCCs
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and risk‑management skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering

Compensation for the CIM Project Leader includes:

• Salary Range: $125,000-145,000 **Depending on experience**
