Software Developer II (Mid)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a senior-level Software Developer to join our IT Services team. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and testing microservices built on the MEAN stack.

*This position is REMOTE or Hybrid in Chantilly, Virginia*

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high quality software

• Build and support application logic for internal development projects

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software defects

• Develop technical documentation and design specifications

• Maintain corporate software libraries

• Collaborate across teams on application design and usage

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

• 3–5 years of web application development experience

• Strong experience with the MEAN stack

• Experience building RESTful web services

Preferred

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Experience developing secure systems
