AI/ML Engineer

Zachary Piper is seeking an AI/ML Developer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML-enabled solutions integrated with ServiceNow and cloud platforms. This role focuses on hands-on engineering, AI integration, and workflow automation to improve business operations. Candidates must have DHS experience and an active DHS clearance.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents and automation workflows for ServiceNow ITSM processes.
• Develop and integrate generative AI models (e.g., fine‑tuned LLMs, diffusion models) and APIs (OpenAI GPT‑4, Google Gemini).
• Deploy models in production across cloud-native environments.
• Integrate AI solutions with ServiceNow and existing business systems.
• Collaborate with process owners to understand workflows and data requirements.
• Ensure security, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Maintain documentation for AI systems.
• Follow clean coding practices, DevOps principles, and responsible AI guidelines.
• Work in an Agile delivery model to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (U.S.-accredited).
• 3+ years of AI/ML experience.
• Strong understanding of model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and tooling.
• Cloud experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data processing technologies.
• Familiarity with LLMs and Voice AI (e.g., Google DialogFlow).
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting APIs and third‑party systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Go, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience designing and supporting RESTful APIs.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and use software tools effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• ServiceNow integration experience (webhooks, APIs).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Google Gemini.
• AI/ML deployment experience in federal or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting or integrating with enterprise ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Clearance

• U.S. Citizen with active DHS clearance or Top Secret DoD clearance.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation for formal design reviews and government stakeholders.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $138,000 (depending on experience)
• Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays. (As required by law)
