Azure Cloud Engineer (Secret clearance required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a permanent position in Laurel, MD. This role will support cloud modernization projects for the Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies. This role is hybrid, on site 3 days per week.

This position requires an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

·      Develop and manage robust CU/CI pipelines for cloud-based applications

·      Work to enhance to DevSecOps processes

·      Implement industry standards driving continuous improvement

·      Ensure application and operating system security

·      Develop infrastructure as code and containers

·      Act as trusted advisor to executives for cloud and DevSecOps strategy, initiatives

Requirements:

·      Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

·      5+ years of DevSecOps experience

·      3 years of Azure development experience

·      Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines

·      Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible

·      Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

Compensation:

·      $160,000-$190,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
