Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an innovative Electrical Analyst responsible for working on the next-generation Air Force One aircraft in reading/analyzing electrical drawings, working through electrical challenges and developing rapid solutions. This position is fully onsite in San Antonio, TX.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
  •  Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures. Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
  • Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
  • Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.
  • Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
  • Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.
  • Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance 
  • Knowledge of Parts, Materials and Processes related to Electrical, Electronic, Electro-mechanical, Electro-optical commodities.
  • Knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies and the ability to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards. ( Preferred)
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting
  • Experience in Aerospace industry ( preferred)
  • Experience with shipside support
  • Experience with electrical wiring drawings (must have)
  • Experience with ENOVIA and CATIA (reading/navigating, design experience not required)
  • Experience with wire installation
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc


Compensation:

 $80,000-$90,000/year **depending on years of experience and degree**
