Mechanical Design Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret-cleared Mechanical Design Engineer to support a long-term Air Force program in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role requires strong Siemens NX expertise and the ability to contribute to a high-visibility engineering effort.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and modify designs within NX modules, including Modeling, Drafting, and Assemblies

• Automate engineering workflows using Perl, Python, or CGI

• Utilize foundational knowledge of the Teamcenter environment

• Apply GD&T principles to support batch processing, design rule checks, and custom toolbar plug in monitoring

• Review and navigate log files within NX Manager

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CAD design experience

• Proficiency with Siemens NX

• Experience with Perl, Python, or CGI scripting

• Ability to obtain and maintain a government background check

Compensation:

• Salary range: $130k–$160k

• Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave (as required), and Holidays
