Technical Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support a national leader in secure systems for aerospace and commercial space operations located in Washington, DC. The Technical Program Manager will lead cross-functional execution from proposal through deployment, working closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of complex technical programs.

Responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager include:

·      Own delivery of customer programs, managing scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder alignment.

·      Lead planning, execution, and performance tracking to meet contractual objectives.

·      Serve as primary interface for customers, translating technical requirements into actionable plans.

·      Drive alignment across engineering, product, and business teams through stand-ups and milestone reviews.

·      Develop and manage program documentation, including plans, reports, and integration deliverables.

·      Act as day-to-day liaison with customer technical leads, conducting syncs and program reviews.

·      Collaborate with business development to scope new opportunities and refine delivery models.

Qualifications for the Technical Program Manager include:

·      Bachelor’s degree in related field.

·      5+ years managing complex software, aerospace, or cloud-based programs.

·      Experience with space systems, ground software, or mission operations preferred.

·      Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall frameworks; adaptable to hybrid environments.

·      Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

·      Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.

Compensation for the Technical Program Manager includes:

·      Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 depending on experience
