Systems Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic systems for a next-generation aerospace platform. This role is part of a high-impact engineering team focused on delivering mission-critical systems engineering solutions in a secure, hosted environment. This position will be onsite in Owego, NY in a 4-day work week schedule! 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to perform activities including:  
• System trade studies and associated analyses 
• Analyses of alternatives 
• System performance modeling and analyses 
• System interface design and associated functional modeling and decomposition 
• Requirements verification testing 
• Participate in engineering technical reviews 
• Document work and artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL 
• Schedule: 4-day work week (4x10 schedule) with 3 days off every week 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 7+ years of systems engineering experience 
• 5+ years of applicable domain experience 
• 3+ years of Model-Based Systems Engineering experience using CAMEO 
• Experience with DO-254 and DO-178 
• U.S. Citizenship required 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Compensation: $120,000 to $230,000 (L1–L5) 
• Per Diem: $2,848/month or Relocation Assistance available
