Electrical Hardware Engineer (Relocation Available)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic systems for a next-generation aerospace platform. This role is part of a high-impact engineering team focused on delivering mission-critical hardware solutions in a secure, hosted environment. This position will be onsite in Owego, NY in a 4-day work week schedule! 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Support ongoing hardware development, integration, and test activities 
• Conduct hardware trade studies and analyses 
• Design and develop hardware systems 
• Provide engineering support to production programs (factory following) 
• Develop and validate hardware test procedures 
• Integrate hardware components 
• Participate in engineering technical reviews 
• Document work and artifacts in Engineering Data SDRL 
• Schedule: 4-day work week (4x10 schedule) with 3 days off every week 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 7+ years of hardware engineering experience 
• 5+ years of applicable domain experience (DO-254 and DO-178) 
• Experience working on circuit boards 
• U.S. Citizenship required 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Compensation: $120,000 to $230,000 (L1-L5) 
• Per Diem: $2,848/month or Relocation Assistance available
