QA Analyst - Remote

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated mid-level QA Analyst to join our IT Services department on a primarily remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance for web-based systems.

Responsibilities of the QA Analyst include:

• Ensure quality and integrity across all custom-developed software.
• Define and prioritize testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create, review, and execute test plans based on product specifications and developer releases.
• Document test results and maintain detailed defect reports.
• Configure and maintain automated regression tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve system and software defects.
• Work with business units to ensure testing aligns with user needs.
• Apply new technologies and testing strategies regularly.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, effective communication, quick learning, problem-solving, and professionalism.

Qualifications for the QA Analyst include:

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance for web-based systems.
• 3+ years of experience writing and executing test plans.
• 3+ years of experience documenting test results and resolving defects with development teams.
• 1–3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to come on-site to Chantilly, Virginia as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance.

Compensation for the QA Analyst includes:

• Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000/year depending on experience
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays
• Remote flexible structure (occasional on-site requirements in Chantilly, VA)
