Penetration Tester

Piper Companies is looking for a Penetration Tester to join an information security firm that specializes in penetration testing and strategic security consulting. This role is a direct hire opportunity and will be fully REMOTE, the candidate must sit in the US.

Responsibilities for the Penetration Tester:

• Be able to run security assessments and testing projects
• Recognize and exploit vulnerabilities to measure/lower risk to an organization
• Produce mitigation strategies to assure clients are safe
• Be able to create and deliver reports and/or presentations
• Strengthen tooling, tradecraft, and techniques

Qualifications for the Penetration Tester:

• 1-2+ years of penetration testing/ producing reports in a consulting background
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• IT/InfoSec certifications (i.e. PNPT, OSCP, eCPPT)

Compensation/Benefits for the Penetration Tester:

• Compensation: 80k-150k/yr. depending on years of experience
