Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a NOC Tier 1 Support Specialist to join a security and electronic systems business unit located in Springfield, VA through 100% full onsite presence. The NOC Tier 1 Support Specialist will monitor applications & network systems for performance issues, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate incidents to higher support tiers.

  

Responsibilities of the NOC Tier 1 Support Specialist include:

  • Monitor applications & network systems for performance issues & potential failures in real time
  • Analyze alerts & verify incidents, escalating them to Tier 2 or higher when necessary
  • Perform initial troubleshooting & document findings using a ticketing system
  • Maintain operational coverage, ensuring consistent monitoring & support
  • Generate reports related to system performance & incident tracking
  • Communicate effectively with team members & stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues

 

Qualifications of the NOC Tier 1 Support Specialist include:

  • 1+ year of experience in Tier 1 support
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience using ticketing systems for documenting & tracking technical issues
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access
  • Ability to perform extended computer-based work, including sitting, typing, & screen exposure
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply general rules to specific technical problems

 

Compensation for the NOC Tier 1 Support Specialist includes:

  • Salary Range: $100,000-$105,000 **depending on experience**
